NEWEST EXHIBIT
Prost to Revolution! Drinks have long been central to society. They create jobs and trade markets. They connect people and forge culture. The likes of coffee, tea, beer, and wine are there during times of celebration, and for some, through tough times. Drinks are undoubtedly woven into the fabric of daily life. Threaten them, and you threaten people’s very livelihoods. Drinks have been central to three revolutions - The American Revolution, French Revolution, and German Revolution. In multiple places and eras, the banning or taxation of drinks have disrupted society, sparked protests, and raised consciousness of the role of government in people’s lives. In turn, these revolutions also impacted the production and practice of drinking. “Prost to Revolution” explores these stories. |
Group Programs & Field Trips
We offer programs for all ages and group sizes! We created educational programs for school field trips, scouts, social groups, senior groups, and anything in between!
Group Programs and Field Trips are available at the museum or at the historic Wolkensdoerfer Log House. Our programs are tailored for you! We work with Scout Troops quite often, and are more than happy to tailor a program to fit a badge that your Troop needs. We take pride in offering inclusive programming.
